Abstract
This study aims to analyze the contribution of Discovery Learning integrated with Deep Learning to the development of students' reflective skills and growth mindset. Implementation was carried out on seventh-grade students through three collaborative learning sessions in Science and English with the theme Science Behind the Tea. Data were obtained through learning observations, model feasibility assessments, growth mindset observations, and reflective skills analysis using the SOLO Taxonomy. The analysis was conducted descriptively. The results showed that the model obtained a feasibility score of 4.2 out of 5 or equivalent to 84%, which is categorized as feasible. Students' growth mindset achieved an average score of 3.5 out of 4, categorized as highly developed. Meanwhile, reflective skills showed development from the Multistructural level in the first session, Relational in the second session, to Extended Abstract in the third session. These findings indicate that the integration of Discovery Learning and Deep Learning can create meaningful learning experiences that encourage students to build conceptual understanding, reflect on learning experiences, and develop the belief that abilities can be improved through effort and collaboration.
