Effectiveness of Implementing Education Financing Principles in Semarang City Middle School

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the principles of education financing in Semarang City, namely the principles of justice, efficiency, transparency and accountability. This research uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods with purposive sampling techniques. Data was collected through questionnaires and interviews. The research results show that overall, schools are considered to have implemented budget management principles quite well, especially in terms of efficiency and public accountability. However, there are still several areas that need to be improved, such as adjusting education costs to the community's economic capacity, school committee participation, and transparency of financial report audits.
